Sanctuary of the Great Gods Attraction
This is one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece, located in the area of Paleopoli. It occupies a verdant area of 50 acres with the most important monuments being those at the eastern hill: the Sanctuary, the Palace, the Temple, the Sacred House, the building of ritual dance, the Tholos of Arsinoe and many altars. On the west hill, south of the Theatre, lie the ruins of Krini of Nike, behind which the famous Nike of Samothrace was found.
